Her interest in Sri Lanka’s ethnic and political conflict was one of the earliest influences on her decision to pursue her law degree at Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, where she is currently a law student. Jessica also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies and Business from the University of Waterloo. She has held volunteer positions relating to the Sri Lankan community, Tamil community, student outreach, and legal education.
